D.S. Williams is the author of the supernatural romance series ‘The Nememiah Chronicles’.

Wife and mother to four demanding teenagers, D.S. Williams started writing at the age of five, when life was simpler and her stories really didn’t have to make much sense. When you’re five, happily ever after always ended the story and how you got there didn’t matter so much.

Older and wiser, D.S. Williams has continued to write… and write… and write. With the support and encouragement of her husband and friends, she has finally come to the conclusion that she can’t keep hiding from the world forever and should try sharing the numerous novels which have been written over the past 40+ years.

D.S. Williams enjoys writing (obviously), reading (voraciously) and making lists (obsessively). She’s enjoyed a lifelong addiction to foods starting with ‘ch’ – cheescake, chocolate and chips – and when it comes to books, she loves a really good cliffhanger. Be warned!

She shares her life with her husband of twenty eight years, the Gang of Four and the current furry residents, Tuppence the Groodle and Angus the Bull Mastiff.

I’ve had a great week of reviews for The Nememiah Chronicles, and I was so excited about them… I had to share:

Far from suicidal, now she’s determined to do anything she can to live. Ah, but that’s where the bonds of love, loyalty and blood come in…

Ooh, it’s so hard not giving any spoilers in this review, given you really MUST start by reading the first book (Knowledge Revealed) before starting this one.

Demons, shapeshifters, werewolves, vampires and a warlock make appearances in this book – as Charlotte discovers that one human girl might just be able to hold her own among all these mythical creatures…

Five stars. Sorry, I’m too impatient to write a longer review – I want to start reading the next book right away.

The Nememiah Chronicles – Knowledge Hurts (Book 3)

29c34-knowledgehurtsfront1-page-001This book seriously ups the stakes in this series. If you thought you were in for a rehash of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, think again. Ms Williams takes you into a true war between supernatural races, with displaced peoples, refugees, genocide and racism all forming part of the plot of this one. Not to mention family and love and relationships, decisions Charlotte must make at the tender age of 21 as she’s forced to assume leadership of an entire people.

And the ending…oh, my. No, I don’t give spoilers, but I admit I had no idea where this book would end and when it did…well, I need to read the next one, don’t I? As do you, because I won’t tell you what happens.

Protective Hearts – Coming Soon

I’m so excited about this release, after working on The Nememiah Chronicles for so long, it’s wonderful to be working on a different, and equally as exciting project.

The characters in Protective Hearts are some of my favorites, Finnola is beautiful and brave and fights her way back from a horrible situation, and I love her personal growth and development as she comes to terms with what happened to her, and learns to love without fear.

I’m on target to have the book released very soon – and will be announcing a release date and doing a cover reveal very soon.Snippet 10

New Book by D.S. Williams – Protective Hearts

I’m so thrilled to announce the title and synopsis for my new book, which will be released before the end of the year.

The title will be ‘Protective Hearts’.  

This one has been a long time in the making, and is affectionately known as ‘the little book which isn’t certain of it’s genre’.  Even this close to completion, I’m not certain what genre it actually is – which should be fun when it comes time to upload to Amazon and Smashwords!  Let me just say it’s a paranormal/romance/murder mystery/thriller with a few surprises thrown in.  I think it’s my favorite book which I’ve written to date, and I’m having a love affair with one, (or two) of the main characters.

What I can guarantee is that this is an amazing story, with strong characters, lots of angst and heartache and plenty of drama and intrigue.

Look for it being available before the end of December.

I’m so pleased to announce the fourth book in The Nememiah Chronicles series is available for purchase as of today.  This book has truly been a labor of love, and I have to say, it’s my favorite book so far.

 

Synopsis:

Meet the Characters:

Charlotte Duncan

 

Charlotte Duncan moves to the small town of Puckhaber Falls in Montana with the sole intention of ending her life after a tragedy in her past. She meets Lucas Tine  and finds herself drawn to him, despite her desire to remain isolated from other people. Whilst she discovers Lucas is harboring a secret, she surprises him and his Kiss by revealing a major secret of her own.
Lucas Tine
Lucas Tine is 6’1″ tall with dark brown hair and midnight blue eyes. Like all vampires in my world, he has metallic streaks in his eyes, which flash and swirl dependent on his mood.  He has a strong square jawline with high cheek bones and he’s incredibly handsome with a broad, muscular chest.

 

Created in 1866, at the age of 24.  He was born in Chicago and struck down by a cholera epidemic which killed his entire family. He was saved from death when the vampire Florien found him dying in the street and created him to vampire.
Conal Tremaine

Conal Tremaine is a werewolf, and first meets Charlotte Duncan when he is kidnapped and forced to use his ability to probe her mind for information regarding her psychic strength.  Conal doesn’t wish to hurt the young woman he is held captive with, and does everything in his power to help her escape.

Conal falls hard and fast for Charlotte, but Charlotte is in love with the vampire, Lucas Tine. Conal may have to settle for friendship with the beautiful woman he adores.
