Welcome!

I hope you enjoy your visit to my worlds, whether you just wanted to know a little more about me, or want to learn some more about my books.

I’m an Australian woman in her late (very late) fifties, who’s been writing in a variety of different genres since I was a kid. Many of those early stories never saw the light of day because quite frankly they were terrible, but I’ve plugged away, on and off for roughly fifty years.

Writing got put on the backburner for a long time while I travelled Australia with my Air Force serving husband (lovingly known as the DH – Darling Husband) and along the way, we brought up our four kids and moved into (and out of) a heck of a lot of different houses.

In the past fourteen years I’ve finally gotten to the stage where I focused on my writing and have published ten books. I dabble in a few different genres, but for the most part the books always include romance and quite often have vampires and werewolves thrown in for good measure.

For those that like their romance a little bit sexier and significantly more explicit, you’ll find my erotic romances under my pen name, Leah Dempster. Leah has her own section here on the site, and you can check out some excerpts there.
