The Pedantic Punctuator Book Reviews

It would be a conflict of interest if I were to write reviews on Amazon and Goodreads for my clients, but I see no reason why I can’t write reviews for my clients on my own webpage.  Perhaps you’ll read the reviews and find a brilliant new author you’d like to add to your to-read list.

From my own point of view, some of these books are very deserving of a review.  One of the joys of being an editor is the fact that I get to read some wonderful books, because it’s my job.  While it’s my job to tweak the author’s words, to check for typos and to point out any glaring problems in continuity – for the most part, my clients are extremely talented authors who deserve to have praise heaped upon them for their writing talents.

Consequently, from time to time, I’ll write a review for some of my favorite books.  And my favorite authors, come to think of it.  Because that is one of the joys of being an editor – I not only read the books and help smooth out the words, but I also make new and wonderful friends with some brilliantly talented people around the world.
